About
Ergonomics and biomechanics expertise spanning research, education, and practical workplace application.
Nick has more than 15 years of experience in ergonomics and biomechanics. He holds a PhD in Occupational Biomechanics and an MSc in Ergonomics and completed postdoctoral training in shoulder biomechanics. He is a full member of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
Nick is also an Associate Professor at Ontario Tech University, where he leads the Occupational Neuromechanics & Ergonomics Laboratory. His active academic research contributes to current developments in ergonomics science and informs the perspective he brings to practical workplace questions.
La Delfa Research & Ergonomics is Nick's independent consulting practice. Its services are provided separately from Ontario Tech University and ONE Lab and are not university or ONE Lab services. Formal academic research and research collaborations are conducted through Ontario Tech University under appropriate agreements.
